founder
LOM was founded on the belief that every decision we make is intrinsically tied to our impact on the planet. Fashion included. With that in mind, we set out to design the most fashionable, sustainably made, vegan ‘leather’ accessories.
We had no idea just how challenging that mission would be. We are definitely not perfect, but we are working on it every day. Every element of every bag is considered from the base materials and detailing to the shipping and packaging that is delivered to your doorstep.
We hope your Life On Mars experience is as extraordinary as the journey it has been to create it.

Our amazing designers are all Melbourne-based and have many years of design experience working with some of the most successful brands in Australia.
Makers
Our Nopales range is designed in Melbourne, Australia and responsibly made in Guangzhou, China. The company has been audited to pass our company code of conduct including:
- Fair, safe and healthy working conditions including remuneration, working hours and conditions.
- Workers understand their rights and opportunities to organise and input into the workplace.
- Zero tolerance for child labour, forced or compulsory labour.
- Eco-friendly processes and materials.
- Zero toxic waste.
